Meet Maddy! One of my most prepared clients for Senior photos this season, she knew exactly what she wanted from her session. She came to her consult ready with outfits lined up with coordinating accessories and shoes!
We split Maddy’s session into two. This was a great idea, not just because we were all exhausted after the first session but because with the amount of laughter, I am not sure our stomachs could have handled anymore! We started out at Sonenberg Gardens which is always beautiful. If you have ever been there you know that it isn’t just gardens. There is a ton of great architecture mixed in from stone walkways, bridges and buildings. The variety of textures added to the diversity of Maddy’s session. When you use a location like this, as a result, you have a lot of options for your Senior photos. Now that is something you will be thankful for later!
Once we finished up at the Gardens we stopped over at the Lake. I mean who doesn’t love a little water and a sunset? It was just beautiful that evening on the docks and the clouds looked like cotton candy. The sun highlighted Maddy and made for a stunning shot as it set. We also had fun with some fairy lights too! You can see my favorite photo on my social media accounts and the website home page.
Although we had a full day of amazing locations and outfits, we weren’t done just yet! I met up again with Maddy and her family to capture her passion for volleyball as well as a very special part of their family- Suzie! Suzie is a 1953 Ford truck that has been in their family since Maddy’s father was young. This truck is just perfect from bumper to bumper! Maddy’s brother made sure to have Suzie picture ready for her Senior photos and as you can tell she’s a perfect match for Maddy and her floral top.
It was an honor to be a part of this milestone with Maddy and her family. I hope that Senior year is unforgettable and I wish her all the luck in this next journey!
