Every year this Project takes on a new twist, why not have to deal with when and if we can have it with a pandemic? Well guys that didn’t stop us! We may have had to wait a bit longer, but we made it! This year we have our event split into two days. Meet Olivia from our group from Day 2!
What do you think this project does for girls’ confidence? What can they learn about themselves? Girls can learn that there are many kinds of beauty that can be captured in a photo. From your smile to the way you hold yourself around your friends, it is all beautiful.
What characteristics and traits do you think make you beautiful? What makes others truly beautiful? I think my ability to put a smile on other people’s face is beautiful because it leaves both myself and others smiling. Beauty goes much deeper than appearance, however, your unique appearance can show it too, as everyone has a characteristic that other people do not have.
What kinds of things do you think girls in your generation struggle with when it comes to feeling beautiful? I think a major issue for girls is thinking that they’re “fat” because of the way beauty is portrayed on social media.
How did you feel being photographed without makeup? What did you learn about yourself? I don’t usually wear a lot of makeup so I wasn’t very affected by this.
What is one word you feel defines you? Generous.
